Venice's vast estuary system allows our guides to find fish year round. Exteme amounts of shrimp, crabs and menhaden spawn in the fertile waters around this paradise called Venice. This abundance of food provides ample year round resources of bait for the huge schools of Specked Trout and Red fish that abound in the area.

Most of our inland guides leave the marina at safe light and return mid afternoon (evening trips can also be arranged).

Light to medium light action tackle will give you a good fight when fishing for the specks and reds. These trips are great fun for the anglers. The delicious fillets you bring home will make for great dining for the whole family.

Although you will be primarily after Specks and Reds, you will often catch numerous other species such as Flounder, Black Drum, Sheepshead and great freshwater fighters like Largemouth Bass and Stripers.

Guided Trips:
Inshore fishing trips are usually done out of 22 to 24 ft bay boats.

Pricing is as follows:
$550.00 for 1 to 3 anglers
$650.00 for 4 anglers

(These trips are usually designed to stay in the inland waters, but if weather permits, they will fish the Gulf shoreline and offshore oil platforms that are close in)

Trip Includes:
Everything except food and beverages. We will provide you with fishing gear and tackle unless you wish to use your own.

We recommend you bring the following items:
Sun Block, polarized glasses, soft white-soled shoes, rain gear and a hat. Bring your food and beverages. Fish cleaning is available. Don't forget your camera!
